GRAND FORKS, ND (August 23) - Races #26 and #27 of the 2016 season brought the S&S Transport team to River Cities Speedway and Devils Lake Speedway last weekend. Brad began Friday night by dominating his heat race by leading all eight laps en route to the victory. The win was his 15th heat race triumph of the season.
Brad then started fourth for the 20-lap Up North Financial main event. After dropping back to sixth for a handful of laps, Seng rebounded to finish in the fourth position just ahead of Ham Lake, MN driver, Don Shaw. On Saturday the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) tour fired back up for their second and final appearance of the year at Devils Lake Speedway. A less than ideal draw put Brad in the sixth starting position for heat #2. The Grand Forks, ND pilot didn’t stay back there long, however, as he wheeled his way past four cars and took the checkers in second behind Dave Smith. Just as he did the previous night, Brad finished where he started at the completion of the 20-lap main event. The Valley Oral/Anderson Brothers Body Shop machine rounded out the top five in the 24-car field. The NLRA tour resumes this Thursday night at Red River Co-op Speedway in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Brad will carry a 52 point advantage into the event over two-time and defending series champion, Dustin Strand. Seng has already parked his MB Customs in victory lane at the historic high-banked four-tenths mile oval and finished second at his most recent visit there two weeks ago. As of August 14th, Brad sits 11th in the WISSOTA Late Model national point standings, just 31 points out of the top 10.
