GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 23, 2017) – After having both events last weekend washed away due to rain, Brad Seng and the S&S Transport team will be back in action for two races this weekend. It all kicks off tonight at River Cities Speedway as Buffalo Wild Wings and the Greater Grand Forks Fair present the NLRA Late Model and NOSA Sprint Car special. Entering the night, Brad holds a slim six point lead over Joey Pederson atop the RCS track point standings.
The driver of the Valley Oral / Anderson Brothers Body Shop No. 12 also holds that same point margin over Pederson atop the WISSOTA North Dakota state point standings. On Saturday, the NLRA season kicks off at Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn. Last year, Brad visited the high-banked quarter mile oval twice and had quite a bit of success. After finishing second in his first appearance on June 18th, Brad backed that finish up with a win on July 30th. RECAP: Last weekend the NLRA season was set to commence Friday, June 16th at River Cities Speedway. After heat race action was complete, the skies opened up and rain washed out the NLRA portion of the evening. A make-up feature is scheduled for June 30th. The NLRA event at Red River Valley Speedway on Saturday, June 17th was also postponed due to rain. A make-up date for that event has not yet been announced.
