This Friday night Brad Seng kicks off his 2017 season at the Ice Breaker Classic hosted by Red Cedar Speedway. Seng last visited the Menomonie, WI one-third semi-banked dirt oval last April, where he raced to a heat race win, followed by a second place finish in the main event. The runner-up finish set up a series of solid finishes by Seng in 2016 that saw him record 20 top five finishes in his first 22 events.
Included in that total was a pair of NLRA feature wins, which helped propel Seng to his third series crown in the last five years. Looking ahead to the rest of 2017, Seng will be gunning to defend his NLRA title as the series ramps up for a stout 17-race schedule. The driver of the S&S Transport/MB Customs No. 12S will also be looking to reclaim the River Cities Speedway track championship. After finishing second in River Cities Speedway points by just five markers in 2015, Seng came up just 30 points shy of taking the in 2016.
Following Friday night’s event at Red Cedar Speedway, Seng will be back in action April 28th at another one-third mile track, River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND.
