By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 10, 2017) – Last Friday night Brad Seng opened up the 2017 racing season at River Cities Speedway in front of a huge crowd. Seng began the night starting sixth in his heat race. By lap five, the driver of the S&S Transports/Schill Construction No. 12S was up to third and looking for more. On the next circuit, Seng moved by pole sitter Zach Naastad to take over the second position.
Seng went on to finish in the runner-up spot behind Joey Pederson. Seng then started eighth in the 20-lap, 14-car Performance Auto main event. After dropping back one spot at the start, Seng went on a run, advancing from ninth to fourth by lap six. The three-time and defending NLRA series champion rode in the fourth position for several laps before Manitoba’s Shane Edginton stole the spot on lap 14. Seng was able to regain the position with three laps to go and took the checkers in the fourth position. The Brad Seng Racing team will be back in action Friday night at River Cities Speedway.
