ALEXANDRIA, MN (June 8) - The original plans for the Brad Seng Racing team were set for River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday night and Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, SD on Saturday for a $10,000-to-win WISSOTA Challenge Series event. However, Mother Nature had other ideas as River Cities was rained out and excessive precipitation made track conditions questionable in Huron.
Come Saturday the team loaded up and made the haul to Viking Speedway for a weekly WISSOTA program. Brad finished second to former national champion, Zach Johnson, in the second heat and redrew the pole for the 20-lap feature.

With Cody Skytland to his outside, Seng raced to the lead in the early going of the main event. The race was slowed only one time for a caution flag, but Brad held the point on the restart and went on to take the win by leading every lap in what was an impressive performance.
“We took off and beat them by half to three-quarters of a straightaway at the end, I guess,” said Seng. “The car was pretty good.”

With an NLRA double-header scheduled at Viking Speedway in early September, the team approached the night as somewhat of a test session to try some different things at the high-banked half-mile.
“We tried some new stuff on Saturday and it seemed like it worked. I mean the car ran well and we won so how do you second guess it?”

This weekend Brad and the Anderson Brothers Body Shop #12 team will take on River Cities Speedway Friday night. Saturday night marks the opening night for the NLRA season at Jamestown Speedway.
“The guys are getting excited and anytime you get NLRA involved with an event, it seems to build a little more excitement than just a local show,” continued Seng. “It’s always a goal to win the points, but there is some pretty stiff competition out there too with all of our regulars and the guys that drop in from time to time.”
