By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (July 27) - Last weekend the Valley Oral/S&S Transport team was back in action with two races on the schedule. As usual, the weekend started Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Brad opened the night by cruising to his 12th heat race win of the
season, which put him in the eighth starting position for the 20-lap Up North Financial main event. As the green flag waved, Brad looked to move through the field but was stuck in the eighth position in the early going. On lap nine Brad got by a couple of cars to move into the sixth position and continued to pick off positions from there. Brad maneuvered by two more cars in the second half of the feature to finish in the fourth spot on the fast, but racy three-tenths mile bullring. Seng and crew made the 90-mile trek to Devils Lake Speedway in Crary, ND for the NLRA Late Model special at the high-banked quarter mile. Brad finished fourth in heat race number one, which buried him in the 12th starting position for the main event. The two-time NLRA champion had his work cut out for him, but Seng scratched and clawed his way through the field to come away with a solid fifth place finish; his 18th top-five result in 20 races. Next up for the Forks Freightliner team will be River Cities Speedway on Friday night, where Brad sits second in the points standings just four points behind Dustin Strand. In the NLRA series standings, Seng holds a 30 point lead over Shane Edginton.
