By Spieker Promotions GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 20, 2018) – The 2018 WISSOTA season is winding down, but there are still a few big fall specials left on the schedule. This weekend, Brad Seng and the S&S Transport No. 12S team will head to Jamestown, N.D. for the 47th annual Stock Car Stampede. The event will mark the second appearance for Seng to the high-banked quarter-mile clay oval. Seng’s first visit of the season came on August 4th with the NLRA Late Models, where he raced to a third-place finish in the main event.
Seng will be looking to improve upon his solid effort at last year’s Stock Car Stampede this weekend. The Grand Forks driver recorded a second place finish in his heat, which eventually yielded a sixth-place finish in the feature out of 25 cars in attendance. Last weekend, Seng was in action at I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minn. at the WISSOTA 100. Of the three qualifying events that ran Wednesday through Friday, Seng rolled into town on Thursday and got himself locked into the big dance with an eighth-place finish in the qualifying feature. Seng started 21st on the 33-car grid for the main event and worked his way forward in the early going, reaching the 10th position around the halfway mark. Unfortunately, Seng was forced to retire from the event with seven laps to go, which gave him a DNF and a 22nd place finish. Entering the weekend, Seng currently sits seventh in the WISSOTA Late Model national points standings and third in the WISSOTA North Dakota state points standings. 2018 Stats: Races: 32 Wins: 3 Top Fives: 18 Top Tens: 28
