GRAND FORKS, N.D. (October 12, 2018) – The 2018 season for Brad Seng Racing is in the books with the conclusion of the Fall Classic at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minn. Seng closed the year with a heat win and a solid sixth-place finish against a stout 25-car field.
It was a year of ups and downs for Seng and the S&S Transport team. After a somewhat slow start, Seng began to build momentum through June and July, picking up his first win of the season on July 21st at Devils Lake Speedway. That win was a part of a mid-summer run where Seng tallied 15 top five finishes in 6 events. The stretch of races also included wins at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D. on August 10th and an impressive triumph at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, N.D. with the NLRA Late Models.

Seng was in the thick of the NLRA points chase all season long and became a serious threat to win the title towards the end of the season. However, a nasty crash at Viking Speedway in Alexandria, Minn. over the Labor Day weekend brought the Grand Forks driver’s hopes at a fourth championship to a halt. As a result of the incident, Seng’s MB Customs No. 12S was destroyed beyond repair which forced Seng to sit out the second night of action at Viking.

The all-time NLRA wins leader returned to River Cities on September 7th, piloting AJ Diemel’s backup car. Heavy rain that weekend made for difficult track conditions. Several incidents were seen all night and Seng was collected up in one of them during the main event. The end result was Seng getting upside down, but the car received relatively minimal damage.

Seng went on to end the season with a 15th-place run at the John Seitz Memorial, a 22nd-place effort at the WISSOTA 100 at I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, and a seventh-place finish at the Stock Car Stampede at Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, N.D.

Seng wrapped up the 2018 season by finishing third in the River Cities Speedway Late Model point standings, fourth in the NLRA points, eighth in the Wissota Late Model national standings and third in the Wissota Late Model North Dakota State point standings.

The entire Brad Seng Racing team would like to thank all of their great sponsors for their continued support this season!
