GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 15, 2023) - Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport / Anderson Brothers Body Shop MB Custom is ready to continue his 28th season of racing this Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND following mechanical woes last Saturday night during the Northern Late Model Racing Association opener at Devils Lake Speedway. The three-time points champion at the quarter-mile bullring, will be one of the favorites to score an opening night victory, an accomplishment in his career three-times.
His next win would be career win number 64 in the Late Model division at the speedway, and his 80th overall when his Super Stock victories are added. Seng is coming off a 35-race schedule last season, scoring three wins, 22 top fives, and 30 top tens. Of Seng's three wins, two came at River Cities. The first was during the July 22nd event, while he went on to win the 'Prelude to the Johnny,' the NLRA championship feature in September. Seng other win was during the final NLRA event of the season at Greenbush Race Park in September. Last Saturday night, Seng made his season debut at Devils Lake Speedway near Doyon, ND with the Northern Late Model Racing Association season opener. The four-time series champion headed into the night looking for his sixth series win at the third-mile oval. But from hot laps on, Seng and crew struggled to get the car to run, taking an extra set of hot laps and missing his heat race to try and solve the problem. His night ended with a DNF in the main event.
