GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 31, 2023) - Brad Seng raced the No. 12S Schill Construction / Fargo Freightliner MB Custom at a pair of events last weekend, scoring a pair of top ten runs after chasing gremlins during the NLRA opener earlier in the month. Seng's weekend started at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks with a tough start at the draw window, starting eighth and finishing seventh in his heat race. That result handed him the tall task of starting 19th in the 23 car, 20 lap main event.
Making steady gains throughout the first half of the race, Seng had his sights on a top ten run late in the race, making the final two of his nine passes to finish with his first top ten of the season. The following evening, Seng followed the NLRA Late Models to their first visit of the 2023 campaign to Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN. Starting deep in the field for the second consecutive evening, Seng climbed from 6th to 3rd in his heat race. In the feature, which only lasted seven minutes, Seng made the best of what little time he had and came home with a seventh-place finish in the 25-lap finale. This week, Seng and the rest of the NLRA are set for two more races. The first of which comes Friday night, as the series will take part in the season's first visit to River Cities Speedway by the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. The tour continues on to Fergus Falls, MN on Saturday night for a visit to the newly renamed I-94 emr Speedway, the first of two visits to the three-eighths mile this month. 2023 Stats: Races: 3 Wins: 0 Top 5’s: 0 Top 10’s: 2
