GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 13, 2023) - Brad Seng's season is continuing to trend upward as he scored two more top tens last weekend in the No. 12S Valley Oral & Facial Surgery / Integrated Steel MB Custom in regular action at River Cities Speedway, and with the Northern Late Model Racing Association at Minnesota's Greenbush Race Park. Seng started his night at River Cities improving from fourth to second in his heat race, earning the fifth starting spot for the evening's 20 lap main event.
Seng fell back as far as ninth early on in the main event, but after four cautions in a four lap period around the midway point of the race, Seng started to make up ground lost. Making it back to sixth on lap ten after restarting on the outside. Seng spent some of the final laps going three wide with Joey Pederson and Brody Troftgruben in a bid for fourth but ended the race in the fifth spot. Seng headed north on Saturday for another date with the NLRA series at Greenbush Race Park. Seng started his night starting deep in his heat race, rolling off inside row four. He didn't stay there long, however, as he made five passes in ten laps to finish second. That run put Seng in the redraw, where he grabbed the two pill, giving him a front row starting spot. Still running in the second spot through the halfway mark of the 25-lap feature, Seng entered in a fight with Dustin Strand to keep the runner-up spot. Swapping the spot for five of the final eight circuits, Seng ended the race with a podium spot, finishing third. Just one race is on the docket for Seng this week, as he returns to River Cities Speedway on Friday night for another night of weekly competition. 2023 Stats: Races: 7 Wins: 1 Top 5’s: 4 Top 10’s: 6
