GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 7, 2020) – Brad Seng rebounded from an opening lap incident to score a top-five finish on Friday night at River Cities Speedway.
Following a second place run in his heat, Seng rolled off ninth on the grid for the 20-lap main event. Going into turn one on the opening lap, Seng was caught up in a six-car pileup. Suffering little damage to his S&S Transport / MB Customs No. 12S, Seng lined up at the tail of the field for the complete restart.
The four-time NLRA series champion methodically worked his way up the running order and secured a fifth-place finish. In doing so, he remains a perfect five for five in the top five category at River Cities and holds a slim one-point lead over Joey Pederson in the River Cities Speedway Late Model standings.
Saturday’s NLRA event at Greenbush Race Park was canceled due to rain.
Seng also sits atop the NLRA standings after one event at Devils Lake on June 27th. He is 10 points ahead of Dustin Strand.
Seng will be back in action on Friday night at River Cities Speedway. Fans can watch live on RiverCitiesSpeedway.TV.
